Niek Theelen

Niek lives with Cerebral Palsy and aims to shatter the expectations of what an audience expects when they look at a person with disabilities. As a 5 foot 4, 120-pound skinny comic with canes with a witty and hard hitting delivery. Niek not only looks different than most comedians he brings a comedic persona that cannot be replicated and is sure to have the audience in stitches.

Red Deer’s own local Jackass Papa Larry started performing stand up 7 years ago. He has performed all over Central Alberta doing shows in Ponoka and a bowling alley in Red Deer. Papa Larry has spent 42 years on this planet and has 8 kids, 2 dogs, a cat, and a partridge in a pear tree, so he’s got some crazy stories that are guaranteed to make you laugh or at the very least ask “ has Papa Larry gone insane?” and the answer is yes, yes he is.
